so im applying for UCF as an undergrad in Mechanical Engineering, and i was wondering what my chances are of getting in.
My HPA is only a 3.2 (GPA is 2.85) I know thats bad
My best SAT scores add up to 1840 (630 Reading, 590 Math, 570 Writing)
Got a 25 on ACT with a 6 on the essay
As for AP i got a 2 in Gov. a 1 in APUSH, a 4 in APES, and a 3 in English Comp.
also im in Habitat for Humanity, i play water polo, and am the captain of my school's swim team (i dont know if those really help at all)
that pretty much sums me up, so do you think i have a chance?

I’d apply for summer, because while your scores and activities look good, your gpa is low. Good luck!

Your chance is alright. I would apply for fall and then hope for the best, sometimes they offer you Summer term if they don’t think you’re a good fit for fall. If not, reapply for summer term and you will probably get accepted. Get that GPA up and join a club or 2. The scores are in the range for UCF as well. Don’t be too worried, you should be OK.

630+590+570 does not equal 1840, just sayin
