I'm looking to gain admission into ucf for summer of 2012, and recently i've considered changing my major. I had originally planned to major in psychology, soon realizing not a great field. I'm considering buissness, something in the field of advertising, where I can use my creativity (only thing i'm very good at.) How is ucf's buissness department for undergrads? Also, please no suggestions for other florida colleges. Only considering university of central florida and florida state university, but like to know about buissness at ucf.please and thank you!

The UCF College of Business Administration is a pretty average business college in Florida. In my opinion it has an advantage over other programs because of its proximity to a large number of industries in Central Florida as well as its wealth of internship opportunities. However, I do think that it is on par with the FSU Business School but both schools do not rank higher than UF’s Warrington School of Business which is ranked as one of the best business schools in the nation.

On one final note, UCF’s CBA was ranked as the number one public school in the amount of money returned from investment. Also, UCF has the best administered MBA programs.

Hope that helps!

That did help, a lot! Thank you very much for the information. I have heard good things about their buissness school, but wanted to check. Now only a matter of getting in. Cross my fingers:)

UCF has a good business program but if I’m not mistaken, FSU’s program is better and UF’s program beats both schools. UCF is in Orlando though, where you can find an internship but there are people like at UF getting an internship at Orlando and working in their summer time. If I were you, I’d aim more for FSU and UF but UCF doesn’t have a bad program at all.

Uf isn’t an option. Too competitive, with their GPA and test scores. Also, maybe people are more so interested in attending a school ranked high, that’s well known, but I don’t care for any of that. Even if it was possible to get in I wouldn’t go. Glad to hear fsu has a good one, but more interested in ucf. Thanks for the help!:)
