uchi chances... big reach or no?

Also, what is your regional or national rank in tennis?

You were ranked 5th on your tennis team? So you played doubles?

yea i played doubles, i havent played enough nationally to be ranked.

this year though i lost only 2 sets during over 25 matches (practice and varsity action)

what the hell? Why would they not look at SAT II's as a factor in admission?

Must you act as though I'm an idiot? That's just what admissions told me. SAT II's are still worth being taken for other schools, of course, but UofC apparently doesn't put much stock in them because they tend to "reflect that which is already shown by the SAT Reasoning test scores."

SATII's reflect SAT reasoning? uhh well i dont think so but w.e

And the "what the hell" thing was just me being suprised.

SAT II's are a minor factor at Chicago, but then applications are full of minor factors. If your GPA does not necessarilly reflect your pontential - SAT II's might help a bit at Chicago - and possibly more than a bit at other colleges. The thing you need to be careful of is timing - you don't want your GPA to suffer because you are studying for your SAT II's.

yea i will study for the sat 2's over summer and then take em in october. (with intense review in early oct)

uhh if you dont even play in tournaments I highly doubt you will get recruited, especially for tennis which is highly competitive.

i do play in tournaments- they arent usta sanctioned- they are through the "Bainbridge athletic club" they attract competition from all over seattle. just because you dont play for usta doesnt mean you dont have a shot at being recruited

chillax88,
have you contacted any coaches yet? I don't know that much about the mechanics of it, because my son isn't an athlete - but I know its something you're supposed to do.
