I can’t do this. Decisions for other schools are going to start coming out tomorrow. I’m going to be surrounded by people crying (whether tears of joy or despair is a different story)
Applied ED to UChicago. I cannot wait for decisions to come out! I took a serious tone with my why uchicago and uncommon question essays. I wrote sincerely about why I liked UChicago and for my uncommon I wrote of the issues with the electoral college (hopefully works out for a potential public policy major). My favorite things essay was definitely my most creative. I conveyed how my favorite music genre was the compositions of Hans Zimmer in the DC comic book movies, making me see deeper into the characters that I once thought of as "light-hearted’ and “cool”.

@batmanjohn I was planning on writing about the electoral college too! If I would have gone with the vestigial prompt. But I chose a different prompt in the end.

I applied Early Action for Molecular Engineering. I love the program and everything they are doing with it! I have my fingers crossed that I’ll get to chance to double major in Molecular Engineering and Applied Mathematics.
I choose the same essay. It was a very interesting prompt.
One of my friends has family who works for Uchicago and they said decisions will be released next Friday. Hopefully it’s true
