I just turned in my app for regular decision and I think I’m going to go cry now. One of my friends just got accepted through Questbridge and I couldn’t be happier for him. Best of luck to you guys getting your decisions soon! As for me, I hope that Princeton has mercy upon my application 
@olireg02 One of my initial drafts that I scrapped was that prompt and i talked about people who dog-ear vs those who dont!! Perhaps I should have stuck with that idea LOL, it clearly looks like it did you well. I ended up doing the prompt that asks you to talk about a path instead!
I kind of like my essay, but I haven’t read the sample ones yet. I used the portal prompt, and wrote a pocket knife where each tool on the knife could access different parts of reality. The corkscrew cut through time, the knife opened the portal to another dimension, the scissors snipped to an alternate reality, etc.
AGH the more I read about other people’s essays the more I start hating mine >< anyone else on the same boat?! Also, do the decisions come through the mail for EA applicants or will we get an email/on out UChicago account?
Hey what up Gs! I plan on applying to UChicago for ED 2 if I get denied to my current ED school. Anyone else in a similar siuation?
@PoppedPotato I think you have a great shot. Chicago would definitely be a safety for you. I would advise you to apply to more safeties like Brown or Princeton.
@kingrex16 Can those schools really be safeties for ANYONE? I’m pretty sure that no matter what an application looks like, those schools are most likely reaches or maybe targets.

@AnimeMango He was being sarcastic. Not sure if you saw the original post, but it was quite ridiculous. @PoppedPotato said he was applying to Harvard, Yale, etc, and that UChicago was one of his ‘safeties’, hence the sarcasm.
I totally missed that post and now I can’t find it. Must have been troll-liminated.
