On the uchicago account there is a section for the supplements. Do you upload all your supplements there despite the fact that all of them are in the common app?
You can choose whether to upload them through your UChicago account or through the Common App.
I’m applying EA and I was going to submit through the Common App but my second recommendation letter still isn’t in and you can’t submit the supplement through the Common App until you submit the Common App itself so I’m using my UChicago account.
is it necessary or incorrect to upload on both?
You do not need to upload on both. If you already submitted on the Common App, don’t do it again!
@malvernvarna you can submit the common app before your recommendations are in, UChicago will just download them when they arrive.
if you submitted the common app portion & writing supplement all through the common app, do you need to submit the writing documents again through your uchicago account? would it be wrong if you did that? I feel like I should submit them again because I uploaded a research supplement through the my uchicago account, so I feel like I should submit them again…
Same. I uploaded a research supp through my account too.
so what’s the consensus? do we resubmit our supplement through the portal if it doesn’t show up as completed? this portal is by far the most confusing of all my schools
