<p>We know you cool kids are all hip to the scene with your Tumblrs and your Facebooks and your Tweets and whatnot, so we've created a new social media friend for you: UChicago</a> College Admissions</p>

<p>It's actually pretty sweet, we've got a lot of cool old UChicago photos dug up from the Special Collections (see "Swag Marching Band" as my favorite example), as well as other UChicago pictures, news stories, and the occasional picture of a kitten (we ARE human, after all). Our summer intern Lauren and I are hard at work (cough) to bring you awesome posts, so follow us!</p>

<p>The uChicago admissions department takes the cake for most fun admissions department ever. I’m apply EA to uChicago and can attribute almost all of my initial interest to the unusual emails and funny postcards I got in the mail. You guys are great lol</p>

<p>Oh yeah, I gotta say, I’m a second year and I totally wish we had this when I was applying. Haven’t seen another admissions move anywhere else that comes close (and the postcards were BALLIN’). Major props for UChicago attacking Web 2.0/ social like the rabid phoenix it is!</p>

<p>Wow! It took me an hour just to quickily run through the pages. Amazing photo essay of past to present. Nice contrast of the Alien shape Mansweeto library to Hortwart Harper library. Love the Phoenixing and the kitten.</p>
