I overcame a speech impediment and became a successful public speaker.
I created and led a school-wide movement that emphasized the importance of mutual respect among all extracurricular activities (XC Equal Rights Movement).

Realize that only one of your many clones can receive admission into the College.

haha? Are you referencing my busy schedule?

Yeah it’s a little full. What were your main focuses? Your passions?

Political activities (like Iowa Youth Congress - President, Mock Trial - Outstanding Attorning, Model UN - Best Delegate) and Percussion (Drumline Section Leader, various awards and division 1 ratings) are my main focuses. I’d like to pursue a political science major and participate in marching band/jazz band at my future college.

Ok well your GPA is good, you ACT is OK. Your AP scores aren’t the greatest but they aren’t that important. You have a lot of activities so the big thing here is making sure some stand out in your essays. I think overall you have a great chance. Uchicago also has a great Model U.N. team for what it’s worth, and the IOP is a fairly new but already successful program that could always use some more passionate students. I don’t know much about Notre Dame but I know Jed Bartlet went there so they win based on alumni.

Bernie Sanders may have a little something to say about that.

Thanks for the advice! I agree that my AP scores aren’t the greatest; would you recommend submitting any of them? Or would doing so be detrimental?

“I created and led a school-wide movement that emphasized the importance of mutual respect among all extracurricular activities (XC Equal Rights Movement).” is this a joke it sounds like satire
