<p>I figured it be good to start one of these, since I have my interview scheduled. Anyone else excited to apply?</p>

<p>Ahh, look at us overachieving class of 2016ers, already thinking about college admissions and its only April of junior year.
That said, I think I’ll be applying here next year. I haven’t visited yet, but I do plan to do so soon!</p>

<p>How’d you schedule an interview so early? I wasn’t aware they had already started the process…</p>

<p>Yeah, it’s on their website. They actually start in early May, I think.</p>

<p>Is UChicago your top choice?</p>

<p>Second choice, MIT is my first.</p>

<p>I have to say…I’m actually really looking forward to writing my UChicago essay. Wonder what interesting prompts will sprout up this year.</p>

<p>(Applying UChicago EA 2012. Wooooo!) Double major in Physics and Economics, possible minor in History, Philosophy, and Social Studies of Science and Medicine; Environmental Studies, or Music. Oooooooh, look at me, I’m being indecisive!</p>

<p>UChicago is one of my top three schools, along with Harvard and MIT. I plan to major in mathematics, but that could easily change, as Chicago has plenty of great programs. I’m excited for this year’s quirky essays as well. I’ve been looking at them since freshman year.</p>

<p>I’ll probably visit in June. Looking forward to it :D</p>

<p>I’d probably do Biological Sciences or Biological Chemistry, maybe with a double major in International Studies. I’m interested in global health. Maybe a minor in Spanish. So where is everybody planning to apply?</p>

<p>I’m going to the UChicago information session in New York this weekend, I’m super excited :slight_smile: I’ll probably be majoring in international studies or economics.</p>

<p>I’m applying to MIT and UChicago of course. As well as, Cambridge(UK), UToronto, St.Andrews(Scotland), and UMich. Cam, MIT, and Chicago are my tops and all of their apps are iearly, so I’m only applying to places with early deadlines.</p>

<p>I love UofC!!! It’s definitely one of my top 3. My best friend is a freshman this year and I visited her; what a cool place. Now she’s on a study abroad program in Europe…what fun. </p>

<p>Anyway, I’m thinking about applying early, but the college counselor at my school is friends with one of the U of C admissions people, and according to her, they are thinking about going ED for the class of 2016…I really hope they don’t do that. </p>

<p>If I went, I’d do math, or possibly computer science, or maybe some sort of physical science. I’m really indecisive about this stuff; I’m just taking as much math and science as I can before I get to college so I can buy myself time to make up my mind :D.</p>
