Our school has around a 15% admittance rate EA, 7% RD.
@Dilan412 Hey! Long time no see. Us deferred Penn applicants huh? Our school has a 12% EA acceptance rate and 8% RD, but honestly I don’t think I can hope for anything more than a deferral from UChicago.
I’m applying RD, so I haven’t had my interview yet - can interviewers see your essays?
Wishing the best for everyone here this Friday!!! I was lucky enough to get into Penn ED, but UChicago is tied with Penn (if not a little higher than Penn) in my heart </3. I loved the whole process of applying to UChicago and honestly I thought my best essays were my UChicago ones (lol). Believe in yourselves!!!

anyone waiting for Georgetown or Northeastern EA decisions on the 15th? 
@MiniLion Hey I just had my interview this week and my interviewer clearly told me she had no access to any portion of my application (including essays) And she was really glad I brought my resume along to share with her.
So if you want and think your essays are your strong point you can bring a copy of them since the interviewer will not have seen them beforehand and your interviewer might talk/ask questions about them

@Indigoraccoon4 It’s beautiful! Georgetown students are very preppy --its true. But they are also very welcoming, smart, athletic and know how to have fun on a Friday night. My boyfriend attends --he’s getting his pre-law requirements-- and he loves it. The campus is beautiful and right next to the DC mall. It is esp sparkly and movie-like now in the winter. Just perfect…although UChicago is still my first choice. I urge anyone to apply however!
Oh and did I mention you’re practically studying in a metropolitan Hogwarts???..forever a HP fan
@hope1938 I don’t know much about Georgetown but I love all the government major options. Plus the education, inquiry, justice minor is really intriguing. Love HP too and great architecture is super important. Just want decent back-ups. Not that Georgetown is really a back-up. You know its sad when you look as a 16% acceptance rate as high.
