Hey, so I was recently admitted EA to Uchicago’s class of 2020. I don’t think I’ll commit until after visit weekend (April 8th) though…so I’m worried about getting into the dorms I prefer. Right now I really like Max P and North (new dorm). Does anyone know how difficult it would be to get in to these dorms, especially after RD comes out? I’ve heard south is nice, but that it’s far and kinda sketchy walking across…could any current student attest to this? Also, would B-J be another good pick for a social person? Thanks!
B-J and South are both across the midway. It is not that far!
The midway isn’t sketchy at all…the most dangerous thing there is the wind.
@UCMom19 oh ok thank you! do those areas have a reputation of being slightly more dangerous (probably not actually dangerous, just not as safe as dorms near the quad)?
