UChicago Class of 2021 ED/EA Applicant Thread

Did not see anybody create this for UChicago and I am starting to see questions, so decided to create one. Good luck to Everybody. Hope you have fun writing your essays

Here is an interesting survey of the class of 2020. Hope students and parents interested in Chicago find it useful because it contains a lot more information that the “class profile” posted on the school website

Here is an interesting video that prospective students may want to watch to understand Academic and Advising resources available for incoming students

I received an email from admissions counselor today: Hello Oriana, we have not yet set a date for our decision release but will notify students a few days in advance on our website and social media accounts once a date is set.

I am freaking out with this late date. All my friends getting into their dream schools and I am sitting here waiting and crying all day.

I REALLY should be working on other colleges. Tomorrow I will finish Barnard and Wellesley. I have to.

I feel so silly to be waiting and waiting even though I know I’m probably going to get deferred.

Decision will be released on 12/19

It’s so far away

Did anyone else get an email from the University about college houses today? It ended with “If you can imagine yourself as part of a dynamic community that lives, eats, studies, and plays together, consider the University of Chicago.”

i think it’s a generic email bc ppl who didn’t apply got it too :expressionless:
