Why would an essay on low-income students of color being treated like prisoners in urban schools make you nervous?

I am just asking again, but does anyone know if we will receive our financial aid decision right away if we get accepted?
I don’t know if it’ll be the exact same time, but at the least shortly thereafter as ED are bound by Financial Aid packages if you applied for Financial Aid.
Also, from last year, they accepted (I heard 50-75) people off of the waitlist for the class of 2022, so they offered a gap year, will this really impact the acceptance rate?
@dogmuncher55 Here’s a reply I received awhile ago from an UChicago admissions rep. “Students admitted through the Early Action round who applied for financial aid by November 15th will receive their financial aid award letter at the time of their acceptance. If students applied for financial aid after November 15th, it will take a little longer.”

Hey guys, I haven’t really posted anything here at all, but since we are receiving our decisions in an hour or two, I just wanted to wish you guys good luck! I know that for many of you UChicago means a world, but in case if you don’t get admitted, you should know that everything happens for a reason. I know it sounds a bit cheesy, but it is true. Trust me on this one. I have experienced many heartbreaking things in my life and I have to point out that all of them happened for a reason. Some helped me become more mature, some taught me to keep on fighting against all odds.
RN, we all need to relax and realize once again that we applied early, which means UChicago knows that we want to be maroons! I hope we will fill 50% of the class of 2022 (fingers crossed)
