Hmmm I’m pretty sure that Harvard, Columbia, and UChicago are not small-medium small schools like you stated you so desired in your colleges… thinking about these palces just for the prestige then?

Anyways, Harvard, Columbia, and UChicago will be reaches for you (and large ones at that)… try to get your SAT scores up. Your GPA/rank is good, but it also seems like you just have run-of-the-mill EC’s (for Ivy applicants at least).

You have a relatively good shot at Davidson and Emory though.

I’m sorry but how do you have 19 AP’s.

You need to raise your SAT writing score…

Emory and UChicago may be possible with a lot of hard work.
You’re fine as is for Davidson
Harvard and Columbia are reaches as they are for most

I’m curious about the 19 AP’s myself. I have 13, and I thought that’s a lot.
And what are your scores?

freshman year: 2
bio and human geo, 3 and 5 respectively. gonna reake bio in college anyway
sophomore: 3
art history, world history, and chem, 4,5,4 resptively
junior year: 5
stats, eng lang, apush, physics b, psychology, not taken yet
senior year: 9( just the number of tests
macro, micro, gov, comparative gov, physics c mechanics, physics c electricity and magnetism, lit, calc bc, and computer science

I think it’s reasonable for you to be looking at highly selective schools, as long as you take the SAT again and do a bit better. Emory and Davidson seem pretty reasonable, too. Make sure you look at schools that are matches and true safeties as well.

i got a 33 on the act, couldn’t i just send that instead?

bumpppppppppppp

what’s ur ethnicity?

I’m white-Caucasian
nothing too special i’m afraid

Definitely in the running for highly selective schools. Great chances at Davidson and UChicago. As was stated, SATs are a bit low (so are mine ha) but ACTs are solid.

Write some kick ass essays, get some kickass recommendations, and show each college that you bring something special to their respective campuses.

i thank ya, fully appreciate it.

uchicago is number one right now (:

Try to take another English AP your senior year, a class with lots of writing, which could help bring up your SAT writing score. Other than that, you are doing fine.

thanks
i’m taking ap eng lang this year, and eng lit this year

i jsut had a bad day with the sat writing. i mean with the psat i would have gotten a 710
