<p>has anyone currently at uchicago noticed the high acceptance rate of debaters? from what i have heard a large proportion of well established debaters that apply will be accepted.</p>
<p>As far as I know, the debate record has nothing to do with the admission. Debators just happen to make good students often. But it certainly does make our parli team rock more.</p>
<p>A large proportion of all people who apply is accepted.</p>
