<p>In my humble opinion:</p>
<p>Just take the f***ing bus. Why do you need shuttles when you already have direct access to Michigan Avenue with a 20 minute bus ride? These are the kinds of issues that can be used to justify the classification of Chicago students as spoiled rich kids.</p>
<p>While I agree with phuriku that there is no general need for the U of C to supplement the CTA, the South Loop shuttle could be made a lot more useful with only a few minor tweaks. Starting just a few hours earlier could make it a viable option for people leaving Hyde Park, as well as a convenient final leg for day trips (Trader Joe’s, Walgreens, etc. are in the area).</p>
