Which essay topic did you guys choose? Just out of curiosity.

i did the odd numbers one haha! it was between that and “why are you here”

@wethemusicmakers My birthday is on the 21! Lol. I took a risk and picked my own essay topic. Hope that works out well.

I wanted to do the odd number one! Idk all of them seemed really fun to write about but I did the “why are you here?” topic. Hopefully mine turned out okay.

@weepingmermaid I did the odd numbers one too! I was thinking that not many people would do that one. How did you write yours? I did mine like a short story and it’s pretty weird lol

I did the “why are you here” one. Though I thought the pH one was awesome, my essay for that just didn’t work out.

Lots of December bdays here. My D’s is Dec 20 too. Merry xmas or not so merry…

hopefully we both have very happy birthdays haha

@alleycat2 wow a short story sounds awesome hahaha! tbh idek how to describe how i wrote mine LOL

I feel like mine wasn’t quirky or anything… i guess it sounded like me though, so I can’t really regret it. It seems like a crummy personal narrative. Hm.

As a member of the class of 2019 (Gap year woohoo!), I’d just like to say good luck to everyone over the next few weeks, and I hope to see y’all on campus in September!

Wow that’s so cool @kaarboer ! What did you do for your gap year?

Or rather, what are you doing for your gap year? Sorry lol

Did no one do the untranslatable word one?

I almost decided to do that one! But I already wrote my optional essay on my favorite language, so I felt like it would be kind of redundant to do the untranslatable prompt as well…

@awflapjackz wow that favorites essay sounds great !! :D

@weepingmermaid I’m sure yours is way better, haha! But thank you :)

Hey guys, I’m here to join you all in limbo. Kinda expecting a rejection here but we shall see. IF I get in it will be because they saw something in my extended response essay, they will either love or hate that thing. The excitement to write it was half the reason I applied
Applicant from New York if anyone cares

@HydrophobicSeal Hey! Honestly I’m expecting rejection or deferral too… Which essay did you do?

Hey alleycat! I wrote the “how are three things related” essay. It was a short story and a bit long but, I mean, c’mon, it had a plot twist. Who doesn’t love twists? And I’m 99.9999% sure that my take on it is unique so at least there’s that
