Yeah, those’re pretty much my thoughts on deferral too. I’m feeling a lot more chill about my admissions decision now though. UChicago is my dream school, but not everybody can go to their dream school and honestly in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter where I go to college. I’m going to keep telling myself that until I really believe it haha. Congratulations on your acceptances! And good luck on your other essays. I’m sure they’ll be great. </p>

<p>@Ctesiphon Not completely positive, but I’m pretty sure a new box comes up in your account on the day of decisions in your UChicago account. 
I’ve always read stuff about people frantically refreshing their accounts, so I think something just pops up that you can click on.</p>

<p>I guess it is futile to fill yourself up with overjoy and nervousness. If you do, it feels terrible when you encounter a rejection letter, and relatively okayish when you receive the big parcel.</p>
<p>Really? I think if I receive the big parcel in this case I will be overjoyed, even though I imagine it a thousand times a day already haha</p>
