@cbphysics99 I was deferred EA last year. The acceptance rate for deferred students is quite low, about 3-4% get accepted regular decision. Most deferred students are put onto the waitlist in March. My advice is to email your admissions counselor as soon as you can and send them another letter of interest and more essays. Keep them up to date. More students get accepted off waitlist than immediately accepted, ironically! Remember, they just want to protect their yield!

@repibliksesel Thanks for the advice! What do you mean by more essays though? I completed all of the required and supplemental essays, are you saying I should sumbit additional essays from school or something as an example of my writing?
EA deffered. I wonder if anyone was rejected?? I really expected to be rejected so I’m surprised I got deferred!
