Wait guys where do you see the withdraw application form? I can’t find it on my portal. Does this mean they already decided to reject my application?? Now I’m having a panic attack…

It should be on the right side of your portal home page, next to the find us on FB. It basically says:
“Change of plans
for next year?
To withdraw your application please complete the…”
Don’t worry, they might’ve put it for EA applicants in case they got in an ED or in case someone last minute just wanted the committee to disregard their application.

@JBStillFlying2 I’m in central time just like UChicago so for me it was 3:00pm Central but I’m not sure whether it’s going to be 3pm everywhere or change by timezone.

I applied ED and there’s nothing next to “find us on Facebook” for me…

D17 applied EA - has it.
applied ed- do not have said button anywhere on page
I thought said button has existed for awhile but maybe mis-remembering. In any case, it could have been there for the ED’s as well (who - if NOT the ED’s - would need to withdraw their application?) but taken down because those applications are now too far in the pipeline.
Just doing my part to keep the speculation going! 
i’m so anxious right now- just the whole ea/ed release season gets me on edge.

The button is only for EA. Because many EA applicants apply ED and will have to withdraw in the coming days.

Guys it seems the release is within a week and let’s just stay chill… College admission is a two-way selection process, so I’m sure you guys will all end up in a school that most wants you and that you fits the best. Best of luck to all of you!
Do any ED applicants have the withdraw button? I don’t have it and I applied ED! I’m guessing it’s only for EA like @collegeofnowhere said.
