Hello all, today I received an e-mail from UChicago regarding my financial aid package and was wondering what to make of it. I wasn't sure if it was a good indication of what's to come on decision day next Friday or if it was nothing. Either way, thank you for responding and here it is:

The Committee on College Aid is reviewing your financial aid application for the 2013-2014 academic year. During this process we found that your application for financial aid is incomplete. In order to complete your financial aid application, we kindly ask that that you submit these documents as quickly as possible:

We must have a copy of your parents' federal income tax return to provide you with a financial aid decision. If the 2012 return has not been filed, submit a signed copy of the entire 2011 return, including all IRS schedules and W-2 Forms. Once the 2012 return is filed, please send a complete copy of that return. The University of Chicago does not participate in the IDOC process through the College Board so please send tax information directly to the Office of College Aid.

If you have not yet filed the FAFSA, please do so immediately using the University of Chicago school code: 001774. Apply on-line via "FAFSA on the Web" at Home - FAFSA on the Web-Federal Student Aid.

**If you no longer wish to be considered for need based financial aid, please notify us by email or postal mail.
