<p>I haven't written the essay year (largely because I don't want to invest the time in making this essay if it's not really what UChicago is looking for).</p>

<p>Write what you want to write. When S#1 and I visited 4 years ago, the info session response to questions about the app essay was " we want to know what you are thinking about" 'just let us know what you think". I don't believe that this philosophy has changed.</p>
