Just reading what you wrote about yourself, I’m thinking Tufts is a better fit than NW.

The Hillel guide to Jewish life on campus gives the following percentages of Jewish students among undergraduates:

UChicago: 13.6 percent
Northwestern: 23 percent
Tufts: 31.5 percent

According to my Fiske guide 2008 for participation in Greek life:

UChicago: 10 percent of men and 5 percent of women
Northwestern: 30 percent of men and 40 percent of women
Tufts: 15 percent of men and 4 percent of women (and there is talk of getting rid of the Greek system altogether.)

Forty percent is a huge number. Just something to think about.
