Any word on the number of applicants?
Hey those of you still looking for portal info: basically if if you applied through the commonapp, you automatically get a uchicago portal - I think they made a mistake @WorldExplorer, because I also never got the email from them saying they received my app.
If you are a common-apper, instead of calling the admissions office for your login info, you can go to https://prospects.uchicago.edu/account/login?r=https://prospects.uchicago.edu/apply/status and press forgot password. Follow the instructions and you’ll be able to login with your new password. Make sure you use the email you have associated with your commonpp, and it will recognize you as an existing applicant.
This method worked for me, let me know if it gives you guys access to your accounts!
Hey there guys, deferred EA applicant here. I haven’t been keeping up with this forum so I’m not sure if anyone addressed this, but does anyone’s portal seem narrower. It was much wider back in December and January but it’s slimmer now. So idk what’s up.
@Anduar3 mine’s narrower too and it bothers me more than it should. I doubt it means anything though.
@wethemusicmakers yea it’s really annoying for some reason. It’s kinda like when tumblr changed its signature shade of blue and everyone felt uneasy

When does UChicago usually send out decisions? This wait is killing me…
I mean, I know it was hardly a month ago that the deadline occurred, but…
Middle of March usually
There’s a thread on here listing the admission decision dates for the RD round and it reports UChicago’s date as March 14th.
It would be pretty cool if decisions came out 3/14/15 at 9:26:53am 
@uclabound1 I agree that’s the most likely decision release date/time.
Hey you guys I just jumped on to my portal to check out my checklists and make sure everything is good. But the admissions checklist is gone! Before there was a tab for admissions and one for financial aid, but now it is just financial aid. Is this the same for everyone else?
It really is no big deal since I am pretty sure I had all green check marks 
@nandroida I only have the financial aid checklist too. But now it also says I’m missing the FAFSA even though I’ve already submitted it. Anyone else?
@uclabound1, I have the same on mine. They just added it today
@uclabound1 Above that is says it will take them until late February to process the FAFSA, so don’t worry about that
Can yall believe we only have a little more than two weeks until we know? It’s so exciting!
Do you think they’re still making decisions or has the list of accepted students already been made?
They’re probably still deciding
I’ll not only bet that all decisions have not been made, but that the next couple weeks will be really, really, really busy.
