waitlisted
I was waitlisted for spring. Is it only for spring, or is there a fall waitlist as well?
waitlisted
@kaukauna I am not really disappointed at all. Two mintues before my Uchicago decision was posted a Lake Forest student called me and ask me to come up for a weekend visit. I was accepted there with a large scholarship, larger than my NYU. I took that as a sign from my dearly departed mentor. I am at peace, my only regret is spending so much time today waiting for the Uchicago decision. Chicago is only a short metra ride away from Lake Forest so I have the best of both worlds. Good Luck to those on the waitlist…
waitlisted here too
waitlist holla
Accepted as a University Scholar!
Waitlist! D:
I don’t know whether to hold onto or give up hope. Based on data from the last couple years, the chances of being accepted off the waitlist are extremely slim. Why do you have to do this Uchicago?!! Why couldn’t you just reject me!
UChicago prefers not to give applicants concrete answers. They defer vast swathes of applicants in the EA round and it appears they waitlist vast swathes of applicants in the RD round. Luckily for me though, I was rejected, so I don’t have to go through the nerve-wracking, terrible, absolutely terrible, process of waitlist.
waitlisted yeet
ACCEPTED!!
Waitlisted. How many applicants do they waitlist? It seems like a large number have already listed their status as so…
ACCEPTEDD!!!
Still can’t believe I made it in… good luck to all on the waitlist, as it seems like there are quite a few of you.
REJECTED!
Congratulations to everyone accepted! You guys are going to have a great time there! And best of luck to everyone wait-listed/rejected hopefully we get a happy ending regardless.
nvm
Waitlisted
I am an international applicant from Spaina asking for a LOT of financial aid, so being on the waitlist isnt that bad.
Do u think this could possibly mean I could get accepetd at the need-blind schools I have applied to? (Dartmouth, Amherst,Yale,Princeton,Harvard)
WAITLISTED
I’m blow away y’all, I was SURE that I would get rejected (I’m an international asking for TONS of financial aid). This probably doesn’t mean all that much though, it seems a lot of people get waitlisted and practically none of them get in. What are my chances of getting in, and how can I improve them?
Stats:
SAT: 2110 (M:730, CR:670, W:710)
SAT II’s: Chem: 790 Math II: 800
GPA: 3.9 (sort of)
Oh and above that, I wrote my essay about the word “fuck” (not even joking).
Huge congratulations to everyone that has been accepted, anyone who got in deserves it (much more than I do haha!).
REJECTED. Knew ittttttt, supplement was not quirky enough.
