UChicago added an optional 2 minute video supplemental. Any thoughts on what they’re looking for or would like to see? There’s still a why UChicago essay. Any advice would be appreciated.
We talked to UChicago admissions rep about this and she said they are not looking for anything in particular and receive all kids of videos. Just make sure it highlights things that are important to you and may not be reflected elsewhere in the application. She also said not submitting the video will not be held against the applicant.
Hi, do you happen to know the deadline for UChicago’s 2-minute video? Will it be the same day as the deadline for commonapp?
Yes, I think it’s due when you submit your application, regardless of which admission cycle you are applying for.
