I don't know what to pick! which school would you guys pick? Undergrad major's not so important to me bc i'll most likely to go law school, but i'll probably do economics at UChicago and the Applied Economics and Management program at Cornell. Please tell me some pros and cons of each! thanks!

AEM is a much less math dependent academically rigorous major. A very applied business program. Some quirky science requirements (thanks to AEM’s position in the agriculture school).

Econ at Chicago has been discussed on endless other threads. Hard core, math based, rigorous and highly respected. Not for the academically faint of heart.

The Core at UC vs. Cornell ag’s requirements - think carefully about these very significant differences as well. Hyde Park vs. Ithaca.

Wow. Very, very different choices. You shouldn’t have trouble figuring out what fits you better.

wow, thanks for all the info. i know those two schools are extremly different, which is why i’m having a hard time picking, bc both places are pretty appealing.

anyone else?
