UChicago vs UC Berkeley political science

Hello,
I was recently admitted to both UChicago and UC Berkeley. Although I love both the schools, I was wondering if anyone could give me clarity on their standings in the political science department.
I would also love to know which school would arguably set me up to get into a better law school in the future.
Thank you so much

Getting into law school (or a higher ranked one that is more favored by law firms) is mostly about LSAT score and college GPA (as recalculated for LSAC purposes, which may be different from how colleges calculate it).

Although political science is the most popular pre-law major, no specific major is required by law schools.

Law school is expensive. If the net price (after FA and scholarships) of the two colleges is significantly different, consider how much the less expensive one will let you have less debt from law school.

Go to the less expensive school.
