<p>Assuming you are a junior… your essays will be key. Your stats are good, but U of C looks for an intellectual spark that you may or may not have (ECs don’t shout “U of C type” to me).</p>

<p>My D was accepted (her DREAM school), and I really believe it had a lot to do with her essays. She is truly passionate about this school, we visited, and she was able to tie in some of her experiences from that visit into her essays. </p>
