My friend who got accepted said she got an email in the morning, like at 10 today.
I don’t think you should worry because you have until the end of March.

@TPRKTORK I have an idea of Riverside’s acceptance stats etc. If you wanna send me your stats I’ll give you an honest “chance” evaluation!

I have good GPA 4.1…something but school GPA was 4.24 but my SAT scores suck like 1780.

Good luck everyone. I am so nervous!

Is Riverside sending out letters? I thought it’s online or something.

@chainiwatmj I am exactly the opposite 2130 SAT and low gpa :/

I know . you will be so much more nervous in the beginning of March. Where else have you applied?

UCR was only through email so far!

Well, I know Im below average. I only have 2 AP classes this year and never had one before.

chainiwatmj- Your gpa was still a match, and do you think your essay was good?

Sadly for me, I wrote excellent essays, but for one of my essays I pasted it wrong and 4 sentences were missing. They didn’t let me correct it. I cried for like 1 week lol

This is a great way to bump this thread.!!
I have heard that UCI also sent out supplemental request too but I don’t about this year.

Yeah, people already received supplements for UCI.

I got the email at exactly 3:01 AM PST this morning. SAT: 2270 UW GPA: 4.0 UC GPA: Not sure, but it would be the highest possible because I took a ton of APs and honors.

I think my essays were excellent too. Why didn’t you proofread it carefully? If 4 sentences are missing then I means yours was too long because they allowed 1000 words. I read mine like 10 times. but I still made an error on my application, not on the essays though but on awards. I just spelled “category” --caterogy

@Rush yeah you were a shoe-in, Congrats! I wonder if the email is sent a while after it is updated online, cause I heard people checking at 12 am

Congrats!!! to all people who got it
I asked because I got one from UCLA but didn’t get it from anywhere else.

I mean after reading so many collegeconfidential threads, I had read a story about a person who got accepted but got an email very late, so we can only wait and pray guys.

@chain … I was stupid I did it the day before and kept hearing rumors that if you sent it the day of, the website would be swarmed etc. I submitted it the night before, I was exhausted. And no it was not too long, I pasted it wrong. The sentences missing were right in the middle of my essay. It really screwed my chances I think.

@Chain my twin sister (with lower stats) Got a supplement from UCLA. I was so jealous. I think if you don’t receive a supplement and are borderline, your just automatically rejected. :(
