<p>Last I heard UCI does not read our essay except in unusual cases.</p>

<p>Actually, just as the case with UCI, UCLA as well incorporates the personal statement and ECs into their decision process. </p>

<p>Incorrect. Rejections come out the same time as acceptances. Last year I applied with less than 60 credits and got rejected mid april (they only accept junior level transfer students, with the exception of few sophomore level applicants).</p>
