<p>Yup, second bachelor’s. I have a bachelor’s degree already, but I’m looking into switching fields that’s why I applied.</p>

<p>Don’t lose hope, I’m a different case from you guys… There’s really very limited space for second bachelor’s applicants. Last year they only admitted 14 out of 100+ second bachelor’s applicants.</p>
<p>Just out of curiosity, wouldn’t it have been better to apply to grad school? Why a second bachelor’s?</p>
<p>I felt I had a good case as a second bachelor’s applicant, because I was coming from a totally unrelated field (Broadcast Communication–with not much science and math courses taken–to Public Health Sciences). But I guess not.</p>
<p>Anyhoo I have to stick to Plan B now, which is take classes at Irvine Valley College (and hopefully, concurrently at UCI, through IVC’s cross-enrollment option for students) and then apply for a Master’s in Public Health and/or med school. Hope everything works out.</p>

I actually had tag for chemistry on UCI and i had all the prereqs done. But i made a stupid mistake on my app and applied as biochem. try to change my mistake but it was too late. i knew they would reject me.</p>
