<p>Well, in big capital letters, it was saying that two quarters of calculus are REQUIRED. I’m unsure but I plan to finish it anyways since I hear it is so much harder at UCI, same with the Java programming class at UCI.</p>

<p>I just checked with the psych counceling division for my ccand it says: while not required fit admission, ALL social science majors must satisfy a mathematics requirement and a computer education course. Courses students can take at ECC to satisfy the requirement are Math 190, Computer Science 3 and 30 OR TAKE COURSES AT UCI. Refer to assist.org for further info. </p>

<p>So no you don need the courses to get in. </p>

<p>I just got off the phone with admissions…for psychology as long as you have one transferrable math course you’re fine, that’s exactly what the guy said to me</p>

<p>I have only gotten accepted to UCR so, if I do get accepted to UCI I will be choosing to go to UCI.</p>

<p>Cal is my first choice, but UCI is my first choice that I can reasonably hope for. :slight_smile: plus my boyfriend lives in Orange county, and I’m looking at UCI as a really good excuse to move back to him. lol.</p>
