lol i got rejected 3.8 business economics with igetc. i had tag but i dotn think i met it since im missing about 1-2 prereqs
lawlawlawl ive been WANTING to go to uci both my freshman application and my transfer applicaiton and they ahve turned be down twice. w/e its thier lost. ucsd will not regret thier decision to accept me : ]

edit: to be specific i am a 1 year transfer student with about 24 units worth of ap’s and will have 67 units at the end of spring 2010. i am taking (in uci’s term) math 2b. i am missing math4 and the computer science class. i shoudl ahve jsut applied for bizadmin sinc ei have completed all my prereqs for that major : [ oh well idk why this is bothering me

hey, people who got rejected with decent gpa and who applied for business econ, its probably because your calc2 wasnt finished or you didnt get a B or higher in calc1 or calc2. i was accepted with provisional with 3.4ish gpa but with all prereqs done. but my calc2 i got a C and calc1 i got an A. my provisional is to get an B in calc3. i asked if i could drop but i couldnt because i needed to get a B in one year of calc.

Hmm looks like uci was maybe even more competitive than other UC’s for transfer becuz they accept 1 year AND 2 year transfers…jus a thought
…I see alotta people in at ucsd nd rejected from uci

Yeah I applied to Haas with like 4 of 6 prereqs…there is no way I’m getting in (i’m a UC-UC transfer)…I hope to appeal for econ though at UCB and I applied to UCI Business Admin as a change of major from business econ with a 3.933…so i don’t know…got rejected from UCLA bus. econ for a stupid missing prereq which I actually DID take…

If my major change goes through at UCSD, even missing the pre-req’s I am, I can still get my degree in two years. If it stays the way it is, I’ll be a super senior and stay at UCSD for 2.5 years or 3 years after transfer. I’m hoping the change gets approved.

I really don’t know why Irvine is so much stricter with their prereqs. I got into Davis for Managerial Economics, without having complete 4 prereqs (Computer Science course, Statistics. Accounting 1C and Math 1B are in progress right now)

Yet I’m only missing 1 at Irvine for Business Econ, and I’m rejected.
