<p>i just checked today (i havent checked at all before). i have a 3.7, all pre reqs, IGETC, engineering major, no TAG</p>
<p>is there anyone that is accepted to irvine that can see their financial aid? when is that supposed to show up? i can’t see mine. is it because i put “will file” 2009 taxes, so i have to wait until i update the info?</p>

<p>I definately wasnt part of the batch from last friday. I got an email this morning, wednesday march 17th. I checked my status and it said i had been accepted. Yesterday it was still pending when i checked.</p>

<p>I applied as a Business Administration major, and put Business Econ as my alternate.</p>
<p>I knew that UCI was only going to accept a small number of B.A students, but I had no idea until recently just how small (only 15-20 transfers?). With my stats, I probably have no chance at B.A (3.4 GPA, strong essay and EC’s, missing 2 prereqs…), but I’m really really hoping they consider me for Business Econ instead.</p>
<p>How exactly do alternate majors work? I hear they only consider your alternate major if they wanted you for your original major, but couldn’t because there’s no room for you. I guess in summary, do I have a good chance at getting in for Business Econ as a alternate major?</p>
<p>Im wondering the same thing… I applied as a business admin major, but with the competition, I dont think I can get in. I do have a 4.0 and I have finished all my prereqs, but it is still a longshot. Im hoping they wont overlook my alternate major, which is biz econ</p>

<p>I have to tell myself to shut up too though. I mean even with a 4.0 and pre-reqs done, not hearing back makes anyone nervous. I’ve heard from SD so I guess Irvine and SB are next, then UCLA, then Cal.</p>
