Has anyone been accepted to mechanical or aerospace engineering yet?

I was just going to post something about this. I haven’t been notified of my admissions status either. My intended major is mechanical engineering. Maybe these majors come out towards the end. On [Ms. Sun’s UC Admissions Blog](http://askmssun.livejournal.com/), it says that UCI will be sending notifications everyday until March 23rd…WHICH IS NEXT WEEK! So, it should be coming soon, I hope.

I don’t know about Mechanical/Aerospace but I got an acceptance to their school of engineering for Computer Engineering a week or so ago.

Best of luck to you all.

To be honest, I’m in one or the other, probably Mechanical Engineering, and got my acceptance in like the second week of February. No CHP though.

They will tell you what you got into.

Login into your UCI admissions page, and you will see:

Your Admission Summary
Level: Freshman
Major: Mechanical Engineering
School: The Henry Samueli School of Engineering

Oh, thanks
I was just asking to see if anyone else has gotten into the mechanical or aerospace majors.

Oh, then I guess I did. I was just informing Btl1993 on how to check his admission status, assuming that he may have missed the notification regarding his admission.

But if my worst case scenario occurs and I don’t get into UCSD’s Mechanical Engineering, then I’ll be at UCI as well.

Still havent heard from UCI…

Computer Science & Engineering

with 3.96 GPA 1950 SAT

also waiting on aerospace
should be a matter of days
ucla ucsc and a few others have started accepting/denying people

Is UCI sending out notifications daily or just on certain days?
If I do not get notification by March 23rd, does that mean I am rejected?

I believe it’s in large batches every couple weeks, though admissions says that they release in small increments every day.

Supposedly by Ms. Sun’s blog admissions should come out by the 23rd, though I can’t confirm the accuracy of this statement.
