As far as I know none of the appeal decisions are out yet or will be out for a while. If you or anyone you know gets accepted/rejected on APPEAL please write it here so that the rest of us waiting can get a better idea of when to expect our response and what to expect. Also, stats (test score and grades) would probably help too. Thanks

After reading some old appeal threads I saw that some people who appealed got denied as well but after the SIR ucsc sent them an email saying they have open spots. I can only pray for that same thing to happen for me…

My daughter appealed to both uci and ucsb. She got accepted last week on appeal to ucsb. The uci staff says they won’t be sending out any info til late May early Aug.

i really hope so! uci is my top school, but i also appealed to ucsb and if i hear from them before and get in, i think i’m going to accept their offer instead. i can’t wait that long for uci. the july-aug release doesn’t sound too shocking as i heard some people from last year didn’t get an answer until a week before school started.

Wow, some people didnt get an answer until a week before school started? That’s horrible! There should definitely be some sort of law against this. I think it’s wrong to let students wait that long.

^chikara, they only do that if they get another open spot. if someone who sir’d can’t go for whatever reason and notify the school, they’ll let someone else in.

take make you feel better though, you can just notify them to not give you one of those really late spots… i guess
