<p>aww mannn i can't stand the wait. i don't even bother checking everyday now, seeing as how long they took with their regular admissions.</p>
<p>i already submitted my SIR to ucr cus i'm pretty sure they won't notify me by may 1st.</p>

<p>i will probably submit my SIR to ucr too because the admissions office said 6 to 8 weeks</p>
<p>^ yeah i'll probably just cancel my ucr admission if my appeal is granted.
but not sure yet, since i'm doing business and ucr has more options in their business administration program~</p>

<p>For those appealing and waiting, would submitting a SIR decline help those who are appealing? If a kid is 99% sure to decline the admission offer, does it help those who are appealing if the kid declines earlier, so the slot is freed up for the one appealing?
In other words if one declines, would one become a good samaritan?</p>

<p>talked about having to get surgery on a knee injury junior year and how my grades suffered, and that i got a 4.0 senior year which shows what i am capable of healthy.</p>

<p>hey xninjaturtle, same here. I sent it in by express mail on saturday. Shipping said that UCI received in Monday morning, but my status on the site didn't change yet either.</p>

<p>Hey CAKI, when did you send in your appeal? Because I also appealed to Davis, I sent it in last thursday but mines still says pending... i'm quite nervous now.</p>
<p>no i just got my appeal decision early because an athletic coach was trying to get me in, and he emailed me with the decision and i logged onto my admissions account and i was admitted. For everyone else you'll have to wait for april 30th</p>
