Has anyone else received an email about 'Become part of the community? I just received it today.
@Tabitha18 D received today as well.
I got that too. I haven’t gotten decision yet. Does the email mean anything? I feel like they might just send it to everyone and I’m just being paranoid trying to find hints in everything lolol
Gotta love it when they tease us like that
I got that “Become part of the community” email from Irvine too. It doubt it means anything.
What does mean something is that they also sent me a Subway “buy one get one free” coupon for a 6" turkey sub, a small soda, and a chocolate chip cookie.
@KES2022 So you buy one combo and get one free? Not bad, you could save the cookies for later.
Is it a bad sign that I didn’t get in early?
4.4 W, 4.0 UW, 1550 SAT, In state
@thexumaker That’s why we’re wondering why a lot of high stat people haven’t gotten in early. How are your extracurriculars?
@thexumaker @boootan it can also depend on the major as well.
What I don’t get is why would they invite us to become part of their community if they know we haven’t been accepted into the school yet.
What, we take them up on their offer to join their community and then they turn around and tell us to take a hike with a rejection? Talk about impudent behavior…what cruelty. :((
And yes, I did have to look up the word “impudent”.
Not amazing but not terrible. Captain for my JV Ice hockey team, orchestra, was a peer tutor, worked at kumon, and there were some family issues that I don’t feel like mentioning here.
@KES2022 Don’t even worry about rejection man, if you think you’re good enough for honors I’m willing to bet you’re good enough for regular admission. Our biggest issue is the wait lol
@thexumaker Sounds pretty decent bro, the Kumon thing looks good as well I’d say. I’d say there’s a super minuscule chance of it being the thing holding your application back, especially with your awesome academic stats. I don’t know what to tell you, honestly.
I just wish the process was more clear
Will the physical acceptance mail come as soon as we get in or little later? Also, since tomorrow is the first day results will be released is there any chance an out of state applicant will get theirs tomorrow too?
@Owls2017 You really want that physical acceptance letter? And as for the second part of your question, I’m not sure if it matters all that much whether you’re out of state.
