Just got in for Computer Science, 1590 SAT, 4.32 UC Capped, 4.0 UW

Just got into CHP for Public Health Sciences, 1600 SAT, 4.0 UW GPA. Congrats everyone!! :slight_smile:

So save the anxiety for March!

:slight_smile:

My daughter was accepted into criminology, school of social ecology. 32 ACT weighted GPA ~4.3

Got accepted into the art major! 1430 SAT, 4.33 weighted capped GPA, 3.97 or so unweighted. What does it mean to be accepted early?

Accepted for International studies! 1460 SAT, unweighted GPA 4.0, weighted 4.75. Does anyone know when financial aid info will come out? I can’t find anything other than where it says my initial financial aid application is complete.

Son just got accepted. Physics. CHP. 35 ACT, 4.4 weighted, 4.0 unweighted.

Hi, accepted for Business Information Management. quick stats: 4.0 UW / 4.2 W (dont know capped); 34 ACT; took some classes at community college over summer; 2 not really relevant summer internships. Good luck everyone!

Can you still get regents without making into CHP? Has anyone hear about regents today? Looks like regents and CHP came out together last year.

What do they look at in your application to make it into CHP?

Is there a decisions thread? I just got in btw for computer science, 1570 sat and 800 on both math 2 and chemistry subject tests.

Accepted!! CS Major…GPA 4.0/4.3UC, 36ACT, 1580SAT, MathII780/Phys740

@peachgirl:
Most students who are admitted to the CHP have high academic achievements. In addition, we are looking for a demonstrated passion for learning, a willingness to explore and take risks, and academic excellence in a broad range of disciplines, not just in the area of one’s major.

Students are selected by faculty in the UCI School of the student’s major.

Accepted CS&Engineering for Interdisciplinary Studies (I believe still Samueli) school:
1530 SAT, 4.0UW, 4.47UW, 4.72 Weighted 10-12
800 Math II 760 Physics 760 Bio M 730 Chem

I wanted to know whether the interdisciplinary studies CS&E is any different from the school of engineering’s CS or engineering pathway. Are those single majors more specialized than the joint CS&E pathway? I probably should’ve researched this beforehand;;

I wonder if you can be offered Regents or other scholarships from more than one UC…So if you get Regents at UCI you won’t get that offer from another UC you’ve applied to.
