Waitlisted at UCD, UCSC, UCSB, and SD and rejected at UCLA. What is wrong with me lol
I’m kind of in shock at how competitive it is this year. My D waitlisted at UCD, UCSD and UCLA. Accepted to UCR and UCSB. Waiting for UCI. My S three years ago, waitlisted at UCLA and accepted all other UC’s, ended up going to UCI.
But my D has better stats than him, higher GPA and higher SAT, more EC…what is going on? Sigh
Has anyone applied as a public health major? I am so nervous, and can not wait any longer 
Number of applicants increased dramatically since last year due to Y2K babies as I understand. This is one reason why it is harder to get in now compare to few years ago. My son probably could have been accepted at UCB if it was like a few years ago but last year you pretty much had to be a valedictorian to get into UCB, especially, if you are an asian.
S3 has seen a lot of waitlists too: UCSD, UCD, UCSB. Accepted UCSC, Cal Poly. But no simple rejections. His scores are slightly lower than his older brothers who were accepted to most or all. Still, it seems surprising to have so many waitlists.
Have the decisions uploaded? My portal doesn’t seem to have any info on it.
