Good GPA and course rigor. What is your UC GPA capped (8 semesters of honors/APs 10-11) and uncapped (all APs and honors, 10-11)? That’s important to know. Will October be your first time taking the ACT? ALso, intended major is important to know. I’d say you have a decent chance.

Same questions as the poster above, what is your UC GPA & what is your current official ACT score, or is this month’s ACT your first actual ACT?

UC Gpa is around 3.8-3.9 I believe. I still need to calculate that.
I took the ACT in June and got 26 but it’s because my science score was so low. I’ve been working really hard on science.

intended majors: pre-pharmacy and biology
also forgot to mention I’m one of the captains of my team

GPA is on target but you gotta get that ACT score up to at least 29-30 for a better chance. You can do it!

UC GPA calculator: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

2015 Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19:

UCB: 12%
UCLA: 14%
UCSD: 39%
UCSB: 49%
UCD: 52%
UCI: 57%
UCSC: 83%
UCR: 90%
UCM: 92%

This does not take into account the competitiveness of the major, test scores, EC’s and essays.

Your ACT is on the low side of the accepted ACT ranges, so increasing that score will help.

UCI: Match-High Match
UCD/UCSB: High Match
UCSD: Low Reach

Make sure you have some solid Match and Safety schools on your list and Good Luck.
