Recommendations for fall 2017 applicants about SAT subject tests for the UC Website:

Remember, these are recommendations, not mandates. You will not be penalized for failing to take the SAT Subject Tests. On the other hand, submission of these test scores (just like submission of AP and/or IB scores) may add positively to the review of your application.

I think your 760 on the SAT 1 makes up for the Math 2 score. I believe UCI is a Match school regardless.

Thanks, I know they’re not required but since engineering is competitive I’m a little uneasy that I’m not applying with two subject tests, which seems to be a common thing now, at least where I live.

You have until December if you are considering either taking another Subject test and/or retaking the Math 2.
