Which major did you select as your 1st choice, Business or Film?
Business is a much tougher admit with an average 4.08 UC GPA and SAT score of 1316 which equates to around a 27 ACT.
Film had a UC GPA average of 3.85 and SAT of 1263 last year.
You are within range for both majors so best of luck.
Thanks, @Gumbymom I have seen you reply to so many ‘Chance me’ posts. You like should work for the UC admissions office! I put down business administration, but now I am not sure if I want to major in business and minor in film or major in film and minor in business? Is it to late to change my major of interest?
According to UCI’s website for Major change:
The deadline to request a major change through the Admissions office is June 1 at 9:00 a.m. You must submit your request on the Message Center at MyAdmission account. Your Admissions Counselor will notify you if it’s approved. Approval depends on whether you qualify for that new major and whether space is available in the major. If you miss the June 1 deadline, you may be able to change your major at summer orientation (SPOP), provided the new major is accepting major changes.
