[/ul] Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: Essays, great junior year, and challenging senior year.
[] Weaknesses: Test scores, bad sophomore year
[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I’m a decent student, I guess (compared to CC-ers at least, lol). I really conveyed my passion for writing in my essays and that might have helped in the admissions process. [/li][/ul]General Comments: If you’re applying to UCs, really put every single bit of effort you have inside you to make those essays perfect. Take challenging courses, and don’t slack off BUT make sure you have a break every now and then! Overworking yourself is just as bad as slacking. Study for the SAT/ACT the summer of your junior/senior year and then FORGET ABOUT IT. Stressing over such a stupid test won’t help you at all; instead, focus on your schoolwork and ECs. Challenge yourself, and don’t be afraid to do ANYTHING. Get involved in clubs, or even make your own. Do your best and remember everything falls into place in the end. Good luck!

Still waiting for UCLA and a few others (fingers crossed). My stats are on the lower side but I had a lot of difficulties in high school family wise. Hopefully the other schools I am waiting for have seen that. Good luck everyone!
P.S. For any juniors or even sophomores out there, take your SATs early! If you are happy with your scores before your senior year that is just one less thing to worry about during college applications.

Well when I called the admissions office last week, they said there are 3 batches. This batch will most likely contain acceptances, waitlist offers, and rejections–whereas the previous ones were only acceptances. Stay optimistic though!
