Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: UCI was my back up
General Comments: Congrats to all those who got in! Waiting on UC Berkeley for my top choice :)

@supermom12, accepted approximately 18 hours ago

btw, should mention that I also got into UC Davis

Some please help me and give me some information.

My application is still in the status of being reviewed and I know a few people who have gotten accepted. UCI said they were going to send out admissions from 3/17 to 3/21 but ended up sending them on friday, 3/15.

Does UC Irvine have a history of sending out acceptances in batches? or does this mean from here on out it is going to be rejection letters. Will there be more acceptances? Please let me know whatever information you guys know. Thanks:)

Accepted UCI Undeclared 3.9 GPA W 1700 SAT 28 ACT Also learned today that I was accepted at UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, UCSB and Chapman. Went to the UCSB Chancellor’s Reception in Irvine today. Accepted in December to SDSU, Cal Poly Pomona and Loyola Marymount. But rejected by Cal Poly SLO. Go figure. Congratulations to everybody that got into UCI and other UC’s!

:)>- BTW, I live near UCI and go there for events at the Bren Center and if you want to have fun, get involved with Greek life. UCI students have a reputation for apathy and joining only ethnic clubs. But it is only 10 minutes from the beach, South Coast Plaza and you won’t be distracted by parties and loud music as it is a very quiet campus. The bookstore is terrible, rude or non-existent employees and sells overpriced stuff you can buy at Target or 99 cent store. Buy your textbooks online and avoid standing in lines.

@thesman : I think they send them out in batches. I know decisions came out early but
“decisions for Campuswide Honors Program went out February 11, 2014; the rest of the decisions will come out in batches at MyAdmission and Message Center between March 17 and March 21, 2014 (confirmed via UC Counselors and Advisers Bulletin: March 2014 received on March 11, 2014)”

@helloxsarah Did you get accepted to UCSC? I’m just wondering since I got rejected to both UCD and UCSC, and now I’m beginning to worry. You’re stats are similar to mine, (I have a 3.9 W UC GPA, 1740 SAT, 25 ACT, and strong essays) and you’ve been accepted to UCI so does that mean I still have a shot? :s

Older S didn’t get an acceptance till the end of March last year. He had already given up and decided on UCD when he got the email to check his application status. So hang in there…

@beachball101 - congratulations on all your acceptances! Which college are you going to attend? You have great choices, good job.

@Clausius… Thanks… Congrats on your acceptances…

Can anyone tell me if the next batches of decisions are denials or some acceptance, too? Thanks

I think next batch will be tomorrow…
