Maybe my violin playing helped (and I said that I’d do Studio Art also)[/li][/ul]General Comments: This is my first acceptance, so it’s really exciting! I thought I would have a really good chance at getting into Irvine, but I’m quite amazed that I got into CHP! It looks pretty cool. Good luck to everyone else who’s waiting to hear back!</p>

<p>So do you get an email notification to check the portal, or do we have to resort to constantly checking it?</p>

<p>According to last years threads the portal updates with your admissions decision about two days before an email stating “Your Application Status Has Changed” gets sent out. So it seems constantly checking is the way to go.</p>

<p>@knit2create i received notification in the mail on February 10 and received an email to take a CHP only campus tour in late February. Other students from my school received notification on the same day.</p>
