What’s your stats?
I saw on Instagram that there’s this one girl that got in public health science last Friday. So yeah, I was just wondering if there is anybody else who got in for that major!

I got the email today morning and I got accepted too!
as a international student, there is my stat:
I lived in us for 2 years. It’s a totally different experience from Chinese high school.
ACT:28
SAT2: physics 720 math2 760
TOEFL:95
GPA (UW): (10-11):3.97
12: around 3.8 I think
weighted: I don’t know how california weighted GPA, but I don’t have a lot rough course. I took a year of normal course to just adjust American high school.
AP Course: AP chem, AP stat, AP cal ab (got a 5 last year)
EC: some volunteer and just some other stuffs about science (1-2 years)
Essay: I would say I write from my heart, but my grammar may be a bit of weird.
Major: first choice-pharmaceutical science

For those of you who hadn’t heard yet, GOOD LUCK!
I hope good news will come soon!

Anybody get in for Criminology, Law and Society? If so, please post stats. Thanks!

Congratz @siyu68

Seems like there are more oos acceptance than there are in states /

Is it true they save rejections for last? Kind of super worried right about now…

Any History or Political Science majors yet?

@AshVas According to the UCAdmission Twitter page, decisions are being released on a rolling basis. In other words, acceptances/rejections can be sent out for anyone on any day.

@visvim But I have not yet encountered anyone who has been rejected, online or at school, so I am a bit… frustrated.

@ashvas I was looking through some social media sites and I saw like 2 people get rejected from irvine

@clarissabby Thank you, I know this is a horrible thing to say, but that is extremely relieving for me at this time…

HAHA same for me too

I’ve refreshed the portal so many times I want to tear it apart

If you get a supplemental questionnaire and fill it out, does that mean your chances of being accepted are higher?

LOL SAME HERE! I have been refreshing it, instead of doing hw… oh my it’s already 7 -_-

@Hearts Supplemental questionnaire comes in three types, special talent, disability, or borderline. The borderline supplemental is the most common, given to about ~5% of applicants, and means you are in the ??? pile, between the Accept pile and the Waitlist/Rejection piles. It is a good thing to receive it if you felt your chances were not good, as it means they are higher than you thought. It should be approximately 50/50 due to the nature of it being for people verging on acceptance to UCI.

@Icespice
Same here, what’s your major? A lot of people in bio and undeclared major got accepted a lot too

@AshVas I received the special talent and disability ones. Does that change anything?

@ninaxnina biological sciences so yeah i’m a little worried

My S was accepted, but to undeclared/undecided. He applied for business or computer science. He has a 4.05 UC GPA and 32 ACT.

@Hearts That can only help you. Everyone with a disability receives one and a special talent one indicates that they took interest in one of your ECs.
