I don’t think anyone should get discouraged just yet. It seems that they have only begun admissions from one department.

@robinu6 On Twitter they said it is not based on department or major or location but rather just on rolling as in you can be notified at any time regardless of the aforementioned aspects.

-General Comments:
I’m so excited to attend UCI and very happy all the blood, sweat and tears I poured into the past four years has finally paid off.

Can’t wait.

REJECTED TO UCD, UCSB, UCSD
I guess it might be a far reach now that I look at it. This is sickening. Just give it to us all at once!!

Accepted UCR
Waitlisted UCSB

I asked this to the UCIAdmission Twitter account: “@UCIAdmission Are you sending out rejections on a rolling basis as well or just after notifying those who have been admitted? Thanks!” and I got this response “All admission decisions are released on a rolling basis throughout the month.” Not a direct answer to my question.

This reminds me of UCR. They started announcing admit decisions on January 14 on a rolling basis, like once a week, and my son did not get admitted until March 5, almost 2 months later. Too stressful. UCI is the last school decision. Pretty sure my son is going to go with UCD. Their admission roll out was impressive with financial aid package ready to boot.

@Icespice
Well good luck to getting into bio! There’s barely any rejections so you still have hope

@stefunnny

OMG WITH YOUR STATS I THINK U SHOULD OF BEEN ACCEPTED BY LIKE THE 3rd wave!!! how could they not accept u already?!! Public health science isn’t considered a impact major I think?

Accepted by UCI !

@Rusty34 When did you accepted? And did you get an email? What are your stats? Thanks

@theunderdogasian Don’t count yourself out too soon. I got into UCI and didn’t get into UCSB or UCSD. They all have a different way of viewing applicants.

i have a 4.2 and a 2090 and havent gotten in yet so i doubt anyone should worry

To @ninaxnina and @Coolitscollege: I think it all comes down to major. I have similar stats to you @Coolitscollege (a 4.26 w GPA and 28 ACT) and got accepted on friday or saturday. I applied to the electrical engineering major (which is difficult but not nearly as difficult as their business majors)

Accepted today, political science major. BTW, I’m an immigrant currently studying abroad, received supplemental questionnaire and answered both questions, plus submitted grades for first semester.

Any Art or Art History majors getting accepted?

AHHHHHHHH STILL FREAKING WAITING.

STILL WAITING while all my friends got accepted, feeling like an outcast right now

@ladygrey315 I got accepted under political science major today, which was my first choice, business admin second.

@Zanelol

Yeah I hope but I have an extremely low chance… 3.3 gpa with 24 act
Just hoping for the best but expecting the worst [-O<
