<p>@maddi0527 Congrats on getting into those colleges. I’d take Cal Poly SLO, UCSB, even UCSC. I’ve been declined to two and waitlisted at UCSC. Guess my chances at UCI are slim.</p>

Don’t feel bad, I know so many people that got waitlisted at UC’s this year. my boyfriend got accepted to UCI on saturday but was rejected from UCSB with a 4.5 gpa…confusing. I think everyone has a chance really, it just depends what the admissions counselors see in you. You still have a chance :)</p>

GPA (UC): 3.73
SAT: 610 WR, 540 M, 500 CR (1650)
SAT II: 540 Ecological Bio
Major: Public Health Sciences (Is this impacted?)
Essay: I think prompt #1 (mom diagnosed with multiple sclerosis) was great and prompt #2 was okay
UC Irvine is my #1 choice and I got denied from Davis, SB, SD and SC. Got accepted into UCR, UCM.
Any help is appreciated
